3W Updates

We are

. Beginning the Woodland area in Native American studies
. Measuring area and perimeter of shapes


Thank you for the sugar cubes and yarn for future projects. We will be making the dream catchers tomorrow and begin weaving on looms next. If you would still like to send in thick yarn or variegated colored yarn we could still use more. Thank you!

SMS School Book Fair

Families,
3W will preview the books at the SMS Book Fair on Monday Nov. 28th. They will then as a class go back on Tuesday the 29th to purchase books. There will be an evening time for you to come to school during that week. I believe it is Wed the 30th.

3W Updates

Reminders:
. No school on Thursday and Friday next week
. Early release for conferences on Wed.
. No new spelling or math facts next week
. If your child did not pass this weeks math facts they need to study an retake it next week
. Twigs or small branches for dream catchers are due by 11/14 if you can send in more than one some children don't think they can get one
. PLEASE label all of your child's winter clothing, boots, gloves etc. Many items look the same and things are getting mixed up or lost already


Thank you to all of the parents who came in or sent in treats for our Halloween party. The class had a wonderful time and loved all of the treats. Thank you room parents Kristen and Jen for coordinating this for us.

We have started our Native American unit beginning with the Arctic area. Students will be hearing many wonderful legends as well as learning about the biomes and people from this area. Please feel free to send in any items you may have about any of the areas we study.
