Happy New Year
3W Families,
Thank you for your generous contribution of 175.00 to the NH Food Bank and my gift certificate to The River House in Portsmouth. I took my daughter there during her visit home over the holidays. It's one of my favorite restaurants. I also want to thank our room parents for organizing our Solstice Party as well as all of you who sent in food or party supplies. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and will have a healthy and happy 2012!
Homework begins again today. Your child is bringing home spelling words as well as our first multiplication pattern, x 1 and x 0. We talked about these today and most felt this would be a piece of cake.
We will spend about two weeks finishing up our Native American unit before beginning the Immigration activities. The last two regions are the Plains and the NW Coastal areas. Ask your child which one they are researching with a group of classmates.
Please encourage your child to go on the computer a few times a week for math facts practice. This is homework and a good way to master those facts. Thanks!
